Services Overview
Hogarty & Associates Inc. (Hogarty) and our roofing manufacturers provide services from pre-design through construction. We review bidding documents prior to publishing or we can assist designers by providing specification guidelines and generic roofing and sheet metal details. Hogarty attends pre-bid conferences to better understand the scope of work and products to be used to meet the design intent. In the bidding phase, our staff seeks design clarifications and provides our roofing contractors with detailed quotes for all roofing and sheet metal components. Hogarty provides information to roofing contractors to assist them in the formulation of their shop drawings and submittals. Our suppliers also review such documents to ensure warranty requirements are being met. Technical representatives from our manufacturers attend and participate in pre-construction conferences, project startups, prescribed number of site visits, final inspection, and close out documents (warranty). Using AIA MasterSpec as a reference, Hogarty & Associates Inc. has generated several guideline specifications for modified bitumen roofing. We are in the process of generating AutoCAD two-dimensional details to assist in the design. Until completion, PDF details will be provided. A specification can be generated that is unique to that project rather than editing a specification from a previous project. Click here to view a sample specification.
